About MSPDJs – Who we are

MSPDJs was founded in 2007 by two hip college students in the Twin Cities area. They thought that DJing for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, School Dances, holiday events, and parties in the Twin Cities area could use some improvement, and since 2007 MSPDJs has been providing top of the line DJing and Entertainment for affordable prices, giving hundreds of guests and students parties and dances that they will never forget.

Attention Metro Area Schools

Having graduated from a local metro school only a few years ago, myself (Shawn) and Cory have created a Minneapolis/St. Paul Djing and Entertainment company (MSPDJs) that has provided top of the line DJing for local school dances, Bar/Bat Mitzvas, holiday events, business parties and special school events.
Because we have jumped through all of the high school hoops, and now both work in administrative positions, MSPDJs caters to both students, by playing popular, fun, dance music, and the administration by keeping music edited, and maintaining an appropriate, safe dancing environment.

MSPDJ’s Edited Music Policy

Part of the reason MSPDJs came to be was due to the fact that we witnessed kids parties, school dances, and Bar/Bat Mitzvah DJs playing music completely inappropriate for the age attending the party, not to mention the appalled parents and staff watching their kids listening to words that we’ll not even mention online.

MSPDJs Host Splash Bash 2009

Working at summer camp, the MSPDJ team put together what is being called “the best party ever brought to this camp.”  A crazy party, a lot of paint, music, dancing, tie dye, and squirt guns made up the recipe for a party that has been made into an annual event here at camp.
