Having graduated from a local metro school only a few years ago, myself (Shawn) and Cory have created a Minneapolis/St. Paul Djing and Entertainment company (MSPDJs) that has provided top of the line DJing for local school dances, Bar/Bat Mitzvas, holiday events, business parties and special school events.
Because we have jumped through all of the high school hoops, and now both work in administrative positions, MSPDJs caters to both students, by playing popular, fun, dance music, and the administration by keeping music edited, and maintaining an appropriate, safe dancing environment.
Throughout our high school dances,  we were both very unimpressed  with our school’s DJ choices. We want to make sure that your classmates and administration come away satisfied with the school dance that you threw for the student body that you represent. Of course our services will come at an affordable price, one that shows you that we clearly undercut our competition, while providing superior DJing and entertainment.

Simple school dance outline:

1. Check out the venue beforehand with staff or student council and go over a schedule of the night and playlist (if possible)

2. Arrive extra early to the event and prepare equipment with enough time to take care of any emergency situations that arise (Backup DJs and equipment will be present at every dance).

3. Keeping a close eye on the overall mood of the dance, your DJs will play popular music that will make your school dance rock the night away, while keeping everything safe and appropriate.

4. Wind down at the end of the night, and assist in any cleanup necessary.

MSPDJs will supply all needed equipment, including but not limited to:

-Speakers (2 full sized club speakers that will be loud enough for any room at 50%) More speakers are available upon request, however our 2 Behringer speakers should do the job.

-Table

-Lights (different setups available upon request, including disco balls, strobe lights (Please be careful as these may trigger seizures or headaches) rotating club lights, multiple rotating laser lights, and much more

-Fog Machines (2-4 machines all with water-based fog)

-Wireless Mic for announcements

-Of course other party and dance supplies are available upon request.
